Fort Wilderness’ charming campgrounds offer an authentic woodland experience, but to appeal more to young children and families who seek to immerse themselves in Disney’s magic of storytelling, a rebranding and redesigning effort was needed. To achieve this, Fort Wilderness’ logo and signage was revamped, with their new identity integrated into a wayfinding system that not only guides guests around the property but also transports them into the world of Disney and its connection with nature.

The re-branded logo shows Fort Wilderness' appreciation of the American Frontier, while still blending some Disney magic with comfort and recreation.

The exterior signage reflects the preserved natural beauty of the woodland, featuring handcrafted wood elements and visually appealing designs of beloved Disney characters, that effectively direct guests to their destination. By featuring Disney's iconic characters within Fort Wilderness, the signage provides playful yet informative wayfinding that immerses guests into the story, allowing them to explore the best of the outdoors and feel like part of the narrative.
